Lion Brewery (Ceylon) PLC is home to the legendary Lion Beer, birthed and conceptualized on traditional brewing recipes and techniques discovered over 100 years ago. Today, Lion Beer has etched an illustrious path to become Sri Lanka’s benchmarked leader in the market. Infusing world-class best practices, state-of-the-art technology, and a knowledge pool that remains beyond comparison, Lion Beer reflects a true Sri Lankan Brand constructed on a global platform of excellence.
Today, the iconic national beer brand “Lion” is amongst the top 10 brands in Sri Lanka with a significant market share in the local beer industry. Being the largest brewer in Sri Lanka with a world-class state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, we operate with an award-winning brand portfolio, which lays claim to more than 40 International awards for brewing excellence.
Lion Brewery has a strategic 30-year relationship with the Carlsberg Group, with the license to manufacture, market, and distribute Carlsberg, Carlsberg Special Brew, and Somersby in Sri Lanka. Lion Brewery is now also the manufacturer of Guinness in Sri Lanka. Lion is not only the dominant player in the local market, but also has a growing global market presence.

Luxury Brands Pvt. Ltd.
Luxury Brands (Pvt) Ltd was established in 2012 to offer fine and luxurious products. The company, a subsidiary of Ceylon Beverage Holdings PLC, specializes in importing, distributing, and marketing high-end alcoholic brands, including scotch whisky, vodka, gin, rum, beer, aperitifs, cider, still and sparkling wines. The company has established partnerships with global giants such as Diageo, Brown-Forman, and offers a variety of old and new world wines. It focuses on selecting carefully curated products that bring new and exciting tastes to its clients.
Pubs N Places Pvt. Ltd.
Pubs N Places Pvt Ltd. was established to promote and inculcate a pub culture in Sri Lanka through its operation of F&B outlets. It currently operates the popular Pub Chain “Machang” catering to a wide-cross section of the market with over 30 branches, as well as the popular “Chillax” brand targeting mass affluent customers with a Beer Garden concept, and the prestigious “O” Brand which operates as Floor By O! for the higher SEC. All branches are franchise-operated and fully supported by Pubs N Places.
